Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, unsalted butter, and heavy cream over medium heat to create the caramel sauce. Stir until smooth and bring to a gentle boil. Remove from heat and add a pinch of sea salt.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and light brown sugar.
- In another bowl, mix the egg and vanilla bean paste or extract. Combine it with the flour mixture until just blended.
- Fold in mini pretzel twists and chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the blondie batter into the prepared pan, drizzle some caramel over it, then top with the remaining batter and finish off with more caramel on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool, cut into squares, and garnish with additional pretzels, chocolate chips, sea salt, and caramel drizzle before serving.
Notes
