1 1/2 tsp cooking/kosher salt
2 1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the warmed milk and oil.
- Pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients, and stir until just combined.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider using whole milk or adding herbs to the dough. Adjust the salt if using table salt.
