Ingredients
12 oz smoked sausage
kielbasa
Italian sausage
or turkey sausage (sliced)
½ head green or purple cabbage (sliced)
1 medium onion (sliced)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 bell pepper (sliced)
2 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper to taste
1 tbsp soy sauce or apple cider vinegar
1 carrot (julienned)
1 cup mushrooms (sliced)
1 zucchini (sliced)
Red pepper flakes for heat
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat.
- Add the sliced sausage and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the onion, garlic, and bell pepper, cooking until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the cabbage, paprika, salt, pepper, and any optional vegetables, stirring to combine.
- Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cabbage is tender.
- Finish with soy sauce or apple cider vinegar and red pepper flakes, mixing well.
