2 sheets puff pastry
defrosted (17-ounce package)
2 tablespoons cream-style horseradish
2 cups shredded Gruyère
⅔ cup caramelized onions
8 strips bacon cooked crisp and crumbled
1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out the defrosted puff pastry sheets into rectangles.
- Spread the cream-style horseradish evenly over each sheet of puff pastry.
- Evenly sprinkle Gruyère, caramelized onions, crumbled bacon, and chopped thyme over the pastry.
- Starting from one edge, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Repeat with the second sheet.
- Chill the rolled pastries in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to firm up.
- Slice the chilled logs into ½-inch thick pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
