2 tablespoons cream-style horseradish

2 cups shredded Gruyère

⅔ cup caramelized onions

8 strips bacon cooked crisp and crumbled

1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • On a lightly floured surface, roll out the defrosted puff pastry sheets into rectangles.
  • Spread the cream-style horseradish evenly over each sheet of puff pastry.
  • Evenly sprinkle Gruyère, caramelized onions, crumbled bacon, and chopped thyme over the pastry.
  • Starting from one edge, roll the pastry tightly into a log. Repeat with the second sheet.
  • Chill the rolled pastries in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes to firm up.
  • Slice the chilled logs into ½-inch thick pieces and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
