Description

A refreshing Sesame Broccoli Salad that combines crunchy broccoli with a delicious sesame dressing.


Ingredients

1 ½ pounds fresh broccoli

cut into bite size pieces

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons sesame oil

2 teaspoons white sugar


Instructions

  • In a dry skillet, toast sesame seeds over medium heat until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine broccoli pieces, toasted sesame seeds, rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar. Toss until the broccoli is well coated.
  • Let the salad sit for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld before serving.

Notes
