Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
  • Gradually add the warm water and vegetable oil, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
  • Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions.
  • Roll each portion into a circle, add your chosen filling in the center, and fold the dough over to seal it.
  • Place the buns on parchment paper and let them rest for another 30 minutes.
  • Steam the buns for 15-20 minutes until fluffy and cooked through.
