Ingredients

1 package frozen croissant dough (or 8 homemade croissant triangles)

1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

½ cup cream cheese, softened (optional)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. -
Prepare Strawberries:
In a bowl, combine sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 15 minutes to release juices. -
Prepare Dough:
If using frozen croissant dough, thaw according to package instructions. -
Add Filling:
Spread a thin layer of softened cream cheese (if using) on each croissant triangle. Spoon a small amount of strawberry mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. -
Roll Croissants:
Carefully roll each triangle from the wide end toward the tip. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. -
Egg Wash:

Bake:
