Ingredients
1½ pounds red or green seedless grapes off the stem
washed and dried
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest (optional)
plus 2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon Aleppo chile flakes or other mild chile flakes like Urfa
Kosher salt (such as Diamond Crystal)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the grapes, lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, and Aleppo chile flakes. Toss gently to coat the grapes evenly.
- Spread the coated grapes in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle lightly with kosher salt.
- Place the baking sheet in the freezer and freeze the grapes for at least 2 hours or until completely frozen.
- Once frozen, transfer the grapes to a resealable bag or container for easy snacking. Enjoy immediately or keep them frozen for later!
Notes
For an extra kick, use a bit more chile flakes. Make sure the grapes are thoroughly washed and dried to ensure they freeze well.
