Ingredients

1 pound ground beef
1 onion chopped
salt and pepper to taste
½ (32 ounce) package tater tots
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
½ cup milk
1 ½ cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and chopped onion until the meat is cooked through. Drain excess fat.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and half of the Cheddar cheese.
- In a baking dish, layer the cooked beef and onion mixture, then pour the soup mixture over it.
- Spread the tater tots evenly on top of the mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- Sprinkle the remaining Cheddar cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
