Ingredients

1 lb boneless
skinless chicken breast (cubed)
12 oz spaghetti (uncooked)
1 medium onion
diced
3 garlic cloves
minced
3 cups chicken broth
2 cups tomato sauce (or cream-based sauce)
1 tsp Italian seasoning
½ tsp salt & pepper (to taste)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
Fresh basil or parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the cubed chicken breast to the pot and cook until no longer pink.
- Stir in the chicken broth, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then add the uncooked spaghetti, stirring well.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the spaghetti is fully cooked and has absorbed most of the sauce.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
