Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion finely diced
1 carrot finely diced
2 celery stalks finely diced
4 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup tomato paste
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 cup dry white wine (or chicken broth)
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parmesan and basil for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, carrot, and celery, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
