400 grams ground lamb or beef

1 can (400 grams) diced tomatoes

1 tablespoon tomato paste

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup yogurt (for serving)

Fresh parsley

chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic and ground lamb or beef to the skillet. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked through.
  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes.
  • Combine the cooked pasta with the meat sauce, mixing well.
  • Serve warm with a dollop of yogurt on top and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
