This 4th of July Swirl Pie is a festive no-bake patriotic dessert that combines a creamy filling with vibrant red and blue swirls, perfect for celebrating Independence Day.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1¼ cups graham cracker crumbs (about 10 full sheets)
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp unsalted butter
  • melted
  • 16 oz (450 g) cream cheese
  • softened
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (icing sugar)
  • sifted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cold heavy cream (or thickened cream)
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • hulled and chopped
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom of a pie dish to form the crust.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. In a separate bowl, whip the cold heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture until fully incorporated.
  3. For the red swirl, toss the chopped strawberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar and let sit for 10 minutes. Puree the mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  4. For the blue swirl, toss the blueberries with 2 tablespoons of sugar and let sit for 10 minutes. Puree the mixture in a blender or food processor until smooth.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese filling over the crust, then drizzle with half of the strawberry puree and half of the blueberry puree. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the colors together for a patriotic effect.
  6. Repeat with the remaining filling and purees, swirling to combine. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  7. Serve chilled, and enjoy your beautiful 4th of July Swirl Pie!

Notes

Make sure to chill the pie for at least 4 hours to allow it to set properly before serving.
