- 1 15-oz. can kidney beans

- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoons salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the pot, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the pinto beans, kidney beans, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, and maple syrup.
- Add the chili powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, mixing well.
- Pour in the beef broth, bring the chili to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
