- 21 ounce canned apple pie filling
- 15 ounce (1 twin pack) pre-made rolled pie crust
- ½ teaspoon apple pie spice
- 4 tablespoons caramel sundae syrup
- 1 large egg room temperature
- 1 tablespoon water room temperature
- 2 tablespoons white sparkling sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pie crusts and cut them into circles using a cookie cutter or a cup.
- In a bowl, mix the apple pie filling with apple pie spice and set aside.
- Place a tablespoon of the apple mixture in the center of each pie crust circle.
- Fold the dough over to create a half-moon shape, pressing the edges to seal.
- Beat the egg with water and brush the mixture over the tops of the cookies.
- Sprinkle sparkling sugar on top for added sweetness and crunch.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cookies are golden brown.
- Drizzle caramel syrup over the cookies while they’re warm and enjoy!
