- Homemade Apple Pie Filling or 1 21 ounce can apple pie filling
- 6 8 inch flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using homemade apple pie filling, prepare it ahead of time. Otherwise, open the can of apple pie filling.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then stir in the white sugar, brown sugar, water, and ground cinnamon.
- Cook until the mixture is bubbling and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Place a generous scoop of apple pie filling onto each flour tortilla, then roll them up like enchiladas and place them seam side down in a baking dish.
- Pour the melted butter mixture evenly over the rolled enchiladas.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until heated through and lightly golden.
- Serve warm, optionally topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
Feel free to add nuts or raisins to the apple filling for extra texture and flavor.
