- Homemade Apple Pie Filling or 1 21 ounce can apple pie filling
- 6 8 inch flour tortillas
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- If using homemade apple pie filling, prepare it and set aside.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to make them pliable.
- Spoon the apple pie filling into the center of each tortilla and roll them up tightly.
- Place the rolled tortillas in a greased baking dish.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the white sugar, brown sugar, ground cinnamon, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil and then pour it over the tortillas in the baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
These enchiladas are best served warm, and can be topped with ice cream or whipped cream for a delightful treat.
