Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- In a skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat, then add the chopped pears, sugar, flour, cinnamon, salt, and vanilla extract. Stir until combined and the pears are slightly softened.
- Pour the pear mixture into the prepared baking dish.

- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture appears crumbly, then add the milk and stir until just combined.
