- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 medium apple
- sliced
- 1 cup organic chicken stock
- ½ cup raw honey
- 2 Tbsps dijon mustard
- 1 medium apple
- sliced
- ¼ cup organic chicken stock
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, On Everything All-Purpose Blend, smoked paprika, sea salt, ground cumin, and ground cinnamon.
- Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and ensure they are well-coated with the spice mixture.
- Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish, skin-side up, and surround them with sliced apples.
- Pour the chicken stock over the chicken and apples.
- In a separate bowl, mix the raw honey, Dijon mustard, additional sliced apple, and chicken stock to create the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the chicken breasts.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is bubbly.
Notes
For boneless chicken breasts, reduce the baking time by about 10 minutes. Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for the best flavor and texture.
