- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a donut pan.
- In a large bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, and milk until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
- Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the donuts cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk together the maple syrup, powdered sugar, lemon juice, and melted butter until smooth.
- Dip the cooled donuts in the glaze and let them set for a bit before serving.
Notes
For an extra touch, sprinkle chopped nuts on top of the glaze before it sets.
