Ingredients
- Boneless skinless chicken breast
- BBQ sauce
- Garlic
- Red onion
- Onion powder
- Ground black pepper
- Mozzarella cheese
- Hawaiian slider rolls
- Butter
- Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a slow cooker, add the boneless skinless chicken breasts and pour your BBQ sauce over the top. Season with garlic, red onion, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Cook on low for about 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken in the sauce and set it aside.
- Cut the Hawaiian slider rolls in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
- Spoon the shredded BBQ chicken onto each roll and top with mozzarella cheese.
- Place the top halves of the rolls on the cheese and brush melted butter mixed with Italian seasoning on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the rolls are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
