Description

This Blueberry & Lavender Jam Recipe combines the sweetness of blueberries with the aromatic essence of lavender, creating a unique and delightful spread for your breakfast table.


Ingredients

  • 1 quart fresh or frozen blueberries (1½ pounds / 680 g)
  • 8 oz / 227 g honey
  • ½ lemon
  • zested and juiced
  • 1 Tablespoon of fresh lavender buds (preferably organic)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the blueberries, honey, lemon zest, lemon juice, and lavender buds.
  2. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before transferring to sterilized jars.
  5. Seal the jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 weeks.

Notes

Make sure to use organic lavender for the best flavor. This jam pairs wonderfully with toast, scones, or yogurt.
