Brown Sugar Glazed Salmon is an easy and delicious 20-minute dinner recipe that combines sweet and savory flavors, resulting in caramelized salmon fillets that will impress your taste buds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 fillets Atlantic Salmon Center-cut
  • approx 68oz each
  • 1/2 cup (110g) Dark Brown Sugar Packed
  • 2 tbsp (30ml) Soy Sauce Low sodium preferred
  • 1 tbsp (15g) Dijon Mustard Smooth
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) Olive Oil Extra Virgin
  • 1 tsp (2g) Black Pepper Freshly cracked
  • 2 tbsp (8g) Fresh Parsley Finely chopped
  • 1 wedge Lemon Freshly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together dark brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, olive oil, and black pepper to create the glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on a lined baking sheet, skin-side down.
  4. Generously brush the brown sugar glaze over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Once done, remove from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a lemon wedge before serving.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glaze. Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or rice for a complete meal.
