- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk or beef broth
- 1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if necessary.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk or beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a different flavor twist, try adding diced bell peppers or substituting the cream of mushroom soup for cream of chicken soup.
