- 1–8 oz. package cream cheese
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt
- 4–6 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- 10 medium to large banana peppers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, plain Greek yogurt, minced garlic, dried basil, dried oregano, pepper, salt, shredded mozzarella, and grated parmesan. Mix until well combined.
- Slice the banana peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and membranes.
- Stuff each banana pepper half with the cheese mixture, pressing it slightly to pack.
- Place the stuffed peppers on a baking sheet and sprinkle additional grated parmesan on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the peppers are tender.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to adjust the garlic according to your taste. You can also mix in some cooked sausage or ground beef for a heartier filling.
