Cheesy Taco Sticks are a deliciously fun snack or meal featuring seasoned ground beef and gooey cheese wrapped in crispy pizza dough. Perfect for parties or a cozy night at home!

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ cup water
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp dried parsley
- Salsa
- Sour cream
- Guacamole
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and water. Simmer for another 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface.
- Cut the dough into rectangles. Place a spoonful of the beef mixture and a handful of both cheeses in the center of each rectangle.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges. Place the filled sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and dried parsley. Brush the mixture over the top of each stick.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
