- 3 egg yolks
- 1 large egg
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

- ¼ teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- ⅛ teaspoon Chinese 5-spice powder
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, egg yolks, large egg, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Add the ground cinnamon, ground ginger, fine salt, freshly grated nutmeg, and Chinese 5-spice powder, stirring until well incorporated.
- Pour the pumpkin mixture into the unbaked pie crust and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for an additional 30 minutes, or until the filling is set.
- Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
- Serve slices with whipped cream and a sprinkle of grated nutmeg, if desired.
