- 1 cup brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Add the sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, ground cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking dish and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- While the bars are baking, prepare the glaze by combining the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth.
- Once the bars are done baking, let them cool for a few minutes and then drizzle the glaze on top before cutting into squares.
Notes
Feel free to add nuts or chocolate chips for an extra touch! Make sure the bars are completely cool before glazing for the best results.
