Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, instant yeast, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together warm milk, softened butter, and egg.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up the dough tightly and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Arrange the pieces in a baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon roll bites before serving.
