- 1 8-ounce can refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1/4 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 –2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
- Spread the cinnamon mixture evenly over each triangle of dough.
- Roll each triangle up tightly from the wide end to the pointed end and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While baking, make the glaze by whisking together powdered sugar, milk or cream, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Once the rolls are done, drizzle the glaze over the warm rolls before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding some chopped nuts or raisins to the filling mixture. Adjust the glaze thickness by varying the amount of milk or cream.
