- 4 cups vegetable oil for frying
- 8 large refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar

- 1/3 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs optional
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat for frying.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and heavy cream until smooth.
- In another bowl, mix chopped peaches, light brown sugar, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Flatten each biscuit and place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture and a spoonful of the peach mixture in the center. Fold over and seal properly.
- Carefully lower the donuts into hot oil, cooking on each side until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla to create a glaze. Drizzle over warm donuts.
- If desired, sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs before serving.
Notes
Ensure oil is at the right temperature for frying to achieve a crispy texture. Fresh peaches are preferred for better flavor, but frozen can be used when not in season.
