Description

Coconut Cream Dream Bars are a delightful dessert with a creamy coconut filling that melts in your mouth, paired with a crunchy graham cracker crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • melted
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 ½ cups shredded coconut (sweetened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Toasted coconut flakes (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined, then press into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, shredded coconut, and powdered sugar, then pour the mixture over the crust.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  5. Allow to cool completely before whipping the heavy cream and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  6. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled bars and garnish with toasted coconut flakes.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before cutting into slices and serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a splash of coconut extract to the whipped cream.
