Description

Cowboy Butter Chicken is a flavorful and juicy dish that combines tender chicken breasts with a rich, buttery sauce infused with garlic, herbs, and a zing of lemon.


Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless
  • skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 1/4 cup of the butter.
  4. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Stir in thyme and lemon juice, then remove from heat.
  6. Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the garlic butter mixture over them.
  7. Dot the remaining butter over the chicken.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (165°F or 75°C).
  9. Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
