- 3 tubs (16 oz each) vanilla frosting
- Red gel food coloring
- Blue gel food coloring
- White star sprinkles
Instructions
- Start by baking and cooling 24 vanilla or chocolate cupcakes according to package or recipe instructions.
- In separate bowls, tint two tubs of vanilla frosting with red and blue gel food coloring, stirring until the colors are well incorporated.
- Frost half of the cupcakes with the red frosting and half with the blue frosting.
- Use the remaining vanilla frosting to create a white layer or design on top of the red and blue frosted cupcakes.
- Finish by sprinkling white star sprinkles on top of the cupcakes for a festive touch.
Notes
For best results, use gel food coloring for vibrant colors. You can also mix colors for a unique frosting look.
