Ingredients

  • 24 vanilla or chocolate cupcakes (baked and cooled)
  • 3 tubs (16 oz each) vanilla frosting
  • Red gel food coloring
  • Blue gel food coloring
  • White star sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Start by baking and cooling 24 vanilla or chocolate cupcakes according to package or recipe instructions.
  2. In separate bowls, tint two tubs of vanilla frosting with red and blue gel food coloring, stirring until the colors are well incorporated.
  3. Frost half of the cupcakes with the red frosting and half with the blue frosting.
  4. Use the remaining vanilla frosting to create a white layer or design on top of the red and blue frosted cupcakes.
  5. Finish by sprinkling white star sprinkles on top of the cupcakes for a festive touch.

Notes
