These Easy Apple Crescent Dumplings with Sprite are a deliciously quick and simple dessert that combines tart Granny Smith apples with buttery crescent dough, sweet cinnamon, and a refreshing hint of lemon-lime soda.

- 3–4 Granny Smith apples
- 2 cans
- 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
- ¾ cup butter
- melted
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- ⅔ cup Sprite lemon lime soda
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Peel and core the Granny Smith apples, then cut them into quarters.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Wrap each apple quarter in one triangle of dough.
- Place the wrapped apples in a greased baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix together the melted butter, light brown sugar, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Pour the butter mixture over the wrapped apples, making sure to cover them well.
- Pour the Sprite evenly over the top of the dumplings.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your dessert warm!
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider adding a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top when serving.
