  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet; sauté until onion is translucent.
  4. Stir in the rice, diced tomatoes (if using), beef broth, paprika, and Italian seasoning; mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish; top with shredded cheddar cheese, reserving some for later.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
