Description

These Easy No-Bake Football Oreo Truffles are the ultimate game day dessert, combining the rich flavor of Oreo cookies with creamy cheese and a chocolatey coating. Perfect for a crowd!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (14.3 oz) package Oreo cookies (regular
  • not double-stuf)
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • softened to room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 oz dark chocolate melting wafers (e.g.
  • Ghirardelli)
  • 2 oz white chocolate melting wafers
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil or coconut oil (optional
  • for glossy finish)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a resealable bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies, softened cream cheese, and vanilla extract. Mix until fully blended.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate the Oreo balls for at least 15 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the dark chocolate melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. If desired, add vegetable oil for a glossy finish.
  6. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted dark chocolate, ensuring they are coated evenly, then return them to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers and use a fork or piping bag to drizzle over the truffles for decoration.
  8. Let the truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes.

Notes

These truffles are best served chilled and can be decorated with football-themed designs for game day parties.
