- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup walnuts crumbled

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix flax meal and water to create flax eggs. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it thickens.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine maple syrup, olive oil, mashed bananas, and flax eggs; mix until smooth.
- Fold in the chopped fresh figs and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Add crumbled walnuts and gently fold them into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and arrange additional figs on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
