This homemade Focaccia Bread is soft, flavorful, and perfect for any occasion. Topped with mozzarella and Parmesan, it’s a delightful addition to any meal.
Ingredients

- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon dried basil
- 1 pinch ground black pepper
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup mozzarella
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- Add the flour, salt, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil, and black pepper to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Punch down the dough and spread it onto a greased baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the mozzarella and Parmesan on top. Use your fingers to create dimples in the dough.
- Let the dough rest for another 20 minutes, then bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.
