- 8 fresh peaches – peeled

- 1 cup all-purpose flour

- chilled and cut into small pieces
- ¼ cup boiling water
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine sliced peaches, ¼ cup white sugar, ¼ cup brown sugar, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss to combine.
- Pour the peach mixture into a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, ¼ cup white sugar, ¼ cup brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the chilled butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in boiling water until just combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter over the peaches.
- Sprinkle with 3 tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon on top.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
