Instructions
- Activate the yeast:
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast.
- Let sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
- Make the dough:
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil.
- Mix until a sticky dough forms.
- Knead:
- Knead for 5–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- First rise:
- Place dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise for 1–2 hours until doubled.
- Shape the dough:
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F).
- Transfer dough to a greased baking tray.
- Stretch gently and dimple the surface with your fingers.
- Prepare garlic butter:
- Melt butter on low heat and mix in minced garlic.
- Add toppings:
- Drizzle garlic butter over the dough.
- Sprinkle flaky salt, parsley, and Parmesan cheese.
- Second rise:
- Let rest for 20–30 minutes.
- Bake:
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve:
- Cool slightly and enjoy warm.
