Refreshingly sweet and tangy, this Ginger Peach Lemonade combines the vibrant flavors of fresh peaches, zesty lemon, and a hint of ginger for a perfect summer drink.


Ingredients

  • 3 Peaches
  • pitted and sliced
  • 1 ½ inch Piece Ginger
  • peeled and sliced
  • ½ Cup Cane Sugar
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 5 Cups Cold Water
  • For Serving: Ice cubes
  • Fresh cut lemon slices

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches, ginger, cane sugar, and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, pressing on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.
  4. Add the fresh squeezed lemon juice and the cold water to the strained peach-ginger mixture. Stir well to combine.
  5. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with fresh cut lemon slices.

Notes

For a stronger ginger flavor, let the ginger steep longer. You can also use sparkling water for a fizzy version.
