Ingredients

  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • trimmed
  • ⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha hot sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger powder
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sriracha, minced garlic, dried basil, ginger powder, and black pepper to create the marinade/glaze.
  2. Place the chicken thighs in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, letting excess drip off.
  4. Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Adjust the amount of sriracha for your desired spiciness.
