Description

This Ground Beef and Baked Bean Casserole is a hearty and comforting dish, blending savory ground beef with sweet baked beans for a delicious family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ¼ cup dried minced onion flakes
  • 2 (15-oz) cans Pork & Beans
  • 6 Tbsp ketchup
  • ¼ cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 5 slices precooked bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef with the dried minced onion until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, Pork & Beans, ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and top with slices of precooked bacon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
