- 15 wooden skewers (optional)
- 2 lbs ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup dried parsley (or 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- minced)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or a few cloves of fresh garlic
- minced)
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, cumin, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Shape the beef mixture into thick kebabs and thread them onto the soaked skewers if using.
- For grilling, place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until evenly browned and cooked through.
- For the oven, place the kebabs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
