Description

  • 15 wooden skewers (optional)
  • 2 lbs ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup dried parsley (or 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • minced)
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (or a few cloves of fresh garlic
  • minced)
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

Instructions

  1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, egg, parsley, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, cumin, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat or the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Shape the beef mixture into thick kebabs and thread them onto the soaked skewers if using.
  5. For grilling, place the kebabs on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until evenly browned and cooked through.
  6. For the oven, place the kebabs on a baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, turning halfway through.
  7. Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
