These Halloween Oreo Chocolate Cookies are rich, chewy, and packed with delicious chunks of Halloween-themed Oreos, making them a perfect treat for the spooky season.

- 1 ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup black cocoa powder
- 1 tsp Kosher salt
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 6 oz unsalted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 10–12 Halloween Oreos coarsely chopped
- plus more for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, black cocoa powder, Kosher salt, and baking soda.
- In a separate bowl, cream the room temperature unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and dark brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and the egg to the butter mixture, mixing until well combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the coarsely chopped Halloween Oreos.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a few inches apart. Top each cookie with additional chopped Oreos.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are set. Let them cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store baked cookies in an airtight container for up to a week. For a chewier texture, slightly underbake the cookies.
