This Healthy Creamy Pasta Salad is a delicious blend of fresh ingredients, brought together with a creamy dressing that’s both light and satisfying.

- 1 lb. curly-shaped pasta (such as fusilli or gemelli)
- 1 lb. cherry tomatoes

- 1 cup frozen/thawed green peas
- 1/2 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped celery
- 1 (3 to 4 oz.) can sliced black olives
- 3 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh chives
- 3 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise or full-fat Greek yogurt (I use avocado oil mayo)
- 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 Tbsp. lemon zest
- plus 3 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, green peas, red onion, celery, black olives, chives, and dill.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta salad and toss until well coated.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
