- 1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
- Juice of half a lime
- 3–4 tablespoons simple syrup or more to taste
- 4 cups unsweetened carbonated water
- Ice cubes
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh strawberries for garnish
- 1 handful fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- In a blender, combine 1 cup of sliced fresh strawberries, the juice of half a lime, and 3-4 tablespoons of simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
- Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher to remove the pulp, if desired.
- Add 4 cups of unsweetened carbonated water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine.
- Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the spritzer over the ice.
- Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries and basil leaves before serving.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more simple syrup according to your taste. This drink can also be made in larger batches for parties.
