  • ½ tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups walnuts
  • roughly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the crust ingredients: butter, flour, sugar, and salt. Mix until crumbly, then press into a pie dish.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, golden syrup, eggs, vanilla, salt, cardamom, and flour until smooth.
  4. Fold in the chopped walnuts and pour the filling into the prepared crust.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the filling is set and golden brown.
  6. Allow the pie to cool before slicing and serving.
