Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 nine inch pie crust unbaked
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries if using frozen berries don’t thaw the berries
  • 1 Tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 large eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the blueberries with 1 tablespoon of flour to coat them. This helps to thicken the custard.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the sugar, evaporated milk, eggs, vanilla, and a dash of cinnamon until well combined.
  4. Pour the blueberry mixture into the unbaked pie crust, followed by the custard mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the custard is set and the top is slightly golden.
  6. Allow the pie to cool before serving for the best texture and flavor.
